We have had a great start!  Everyone is showing up with smiles on their faces and they are ready to learn.  I am very optimistic that this will be a fabulous year for everyone!

Thank you for remembering to send the yellow daily folder back with your child every day.  There is good information in the folder and you can also learn about your child’s day from the behavior calendar.

This week in Writing Workshop...
We will discuss the expectations for Writing Workshop.  We will also talk about how authors come up with ideas to write about.  The students will fill out a heart map to help them if they get stuck and can’t think of a topic.  We will begin writing about personal experiences.
